Can i still get to a good school with a 2.5 GPA? Please Help?

Im a Freshman in high school. i have gotten 2.5 all year. And I Know For a fact i will get 3.4 or higher now that i have adjusted to high school life. But I wanna go to Syracuse or Cincinnati. Do You think they will accept me? So Plz Help M. Im scared , my family always buggin me about grades. Have i already Failed them??
