Is the only reason alcohol is legal because people can make it at home if it were illegal?
More lives are ruined from alcohol than drugs. More damage is caused - from liver failure to dead brain cells - someone who quits heavy drinking is way more dumbed down than a former drug user - an obvious sign that they've killed off a lot of brain cells compared to drugs. Also someone on drugs is less likely to cause damage to others such as from driving. So, is the only reason it's legal because when they had prohibition people were still able to make home made alcohol and get away with having it while the gov didn't profit from its taxes?
