What should I talk about at the gay Primary Debate?

I'm running for re-election as a Student Senator and it's come to light that my opponent in the Republican Primary voted Yes on Proposition 8. This is a big deal because at my school we have a bicameral student council. A House of Reps that is directly elected by the members of certain Districts (like residents of certain residences halls are considered in a certain district, people with certain majors, etc.). And a Senate that is elected to represent certain clubs by club members. I'm the inbent Senator for the Gay-Straight Alliance and my primary challenger is trying to make a deal of me not supporting hate crime legislation because I said it was a violation of the 1st Amendment.
