Can i tell if someone maybe a neighbour is sharing my wireless connection?

my network at the moment is unsecured, i have tried to secure it but the username and pword have been changed, not by me so it won't let me secure it, is it possible to tell if anyone might be using my network, also could anyone maybe a neighbour change the username and pword to stop me securing it, any advise please, thanks
