My dog lunges and barks at cars?

To help with the barking at cars and other dogs you can train your dog to be calm. Start walking him in areas where there is little traffic (dead end roads etc). When you see a car (or dog) go by and your dog barks and runs after it just pull him back and say NO or whatever corrective word you use. If he looks at the car (or dog) and follows it with his eyes praise him and give him a treat for being calm. Slowly work up to places with lots of traffic and dogs until he learns that looking at them is okay but barking and running after them isn't. good luck!
