You have it right in the examples you gave. I think our fear of God is the same as when the Bible said "His Fear." It's just reverence and awe. Unless you mean our fear in general then it would be different because that would be talking about what we're afraid of and I really don't think that's what the Bible is talking about there.

Nope. Lawyering sounds like a very fun job to someone interested in that kind of stuff. Constantly being required to actually use your brain... YES! And ociating with other intelligent people. My betta has been lying on the bottom of his tank off and on for 2 days, whats wrong with him?

I have had this fish since around October. He is in a 5 gallon tank with a filter and heater. He usually likes to hang out on the suction cup of the heater. I have tested the water and it is fine. For the last few days he has been lying on the gravel, or under a little bridge and his gills seem to be really pumping (for lack of a better word). He has never acted like this before. I once looked up "neopagan" on Wikipedia and got 8 pages of material. Neopagan is a term that covers all kinds of belief systems, it seems to be sort of an "umbrella" term. Here's the deal: This is a character in a story, right? First of all, friends (or "girlfriend/boyfriend") should be able to say anything to each other, in real life or in a story. In a story, and in real life, people tend to take themselves too seriously, and I think this inhibits creativity. Let go a little bit, free yourselves of all that stuff that is "right" or "wrong" and just go with the ideas...let them flow and see where it leads you! If the character is in a given situation because it makes sense in the story, then by all means, it should stay in the story. I don't see anything at all to be embarrased by.

I'm running for re-election as a Student Senator and it's come to light that my opponent in the Republican Primary voted Yes on Proposition 8. This is a big deal because at my school we have a bicameral student council. And a Senate that is elected to represent certain clubs by club members. Why dont they combine UNIX CUI with a right click GUI?

so you could theoretically right click on a filename and get a right click menu based on what is the context of the rightclick? for example when using secure shell telnet right clicking on a filename could produce an option to delete file... rename file... rather than having to use the rm command / mv command and the ability to include autocomplete of common commands, i..e, CUI mixed with basic GUI , context menus, tooltips, autocomplete, why not just mix the good points of both? CI=UI is easier on the eyes, faster to load and GUI is easier to understand or use. For example why dont they make vi editor work more like DOS EDIT with Menus (I dont mean Norton Editor NE for commands must be easily accessible via menu and shouldnt be a need to remember commands something like WordStar on Unix replacing vi ONSCREEN FORMAT MENU , PRINT CONTROL MENU etc. etc.)

My main cookbook is the Betty Crocker Cookbook for Kids that I got when I was 6 years old!! The recipes have really good directions & lots of pictures. Good food too!! Maybe you just need to start small & then move on to more complicated recipes as you get more confident. Remember, cooking is supposed to be FUN!! You don't get graded on this. Recipes are not engraved in stone- you can play around a little. Some of my biggest successes didn't look like the pictures, but tasted wonderful, & isn't that the main thing?? Is it better to die young?

I know this will be quite the read and I apologize for that, but for those who hear me out and answer I thank you. Since I was a little boy, the idea of death frightened me. I know it seems a silly for a little boy to be so scared of something so far in distance, but it scared me none the less. Not to say that I am or was depressed. I'm always with friends and I do enjoy life and I have enough aspirations to fill a thousand lifetimes. But when I'm alone, I start to think... to wonder, is it all worth it? What is the point of living if you're only going to die? I realize that's an easily arguable one; however in cases such as this I believe most people will agree that sometimes logic doesn't seem to help. The other issue I face is the question of fleeting youth. Once again I realize that it's a stupid and possibly selfish thing to worry about at my age (I'm 21 if it helps). Is it better to die relatively young, and be remembered as the man you were, totally in control of your faculties. The downside obviously being that you don't live as long, but you live your whole life as a strong person who never needs to face the issue of being trapped in an old body. The idea of a catheter, a walker, and most frighteningly the slipping of my mind. I'm proud of my intelligence, I'm articulated and quick witted among other things. I've recently seen both my grandmothers slip into dementia; the idea of not knowing how to work a phone, thinking there are people sneaking into my place and rearranging my things when I sleep scares me more than anything else in the world. It's ironic, the two things in the world that I'm scared of, death and aging, are the two things I'll inevitably face. Somehow I'm not so reured that facing my fears will alleviate them. Anyway, after that little history of me I'll get to my real question. Is it better to say, smoke and die younger, or stay as healthy as you can and die older. The way I look at it, when I'm old and on my way out when I look back, will I have enjoyed all the fun I had with my friend during our smoke breaks (which for us are times to bond, talk about serious things and the like) or living a lot longer and using a walker and a colostomy bag. I'm leaning towards the former. I realize that there's no way to tell exactly how I'll be in however many years. In good shape or not, I'm just doing my best to live life well and hope that future me will look back and think I made the right choice. Thanks for reading, if you have any thoughts, answers, experience perhaps from a similar outlook. Once again, thank you for your time.

Ive been thinking of things i never thought of: feeling gloomy in the head and feeling outrageously stressed out. my mind been thinking of it's own visions that im incapable of controlling. I ain't lying, last night, as i think about it, i heard someone knocking at my door and i woke up. But the crazy thing is, it was late, real late, and my parents were sleep, but i sworn i heard a knockiing at my door. I actually forget these late night situations until i rethink about it, which then i realize that some weird **** has been happening and that im not tripping out. I don't know what the **** to do, im feeling haunted and controlled, and my mind plays so much tricks on me that its driving me the **** crazy. Anybody has any suggestions?

Achilles tendon problem? Please help ASAP if you can! Thank you!?

Hi, I think that I did something to my achilles tendon, as it's been hurting significantly for over a week now. It's very painful RIGHT where the achilles tendon is (I've looked at diagrams so I know exactly where it is). It hurts when I move my foot in all directions, but especially when I bend my foot upwards (as if I was trying to touch the top of my toes to the front of my shin). It also hurts extremely bad if I press on the area, even lightly. I can't even walk on it, yet I have no idea what I could have done to it. I think it was running in high heels. Occasionally I get a tingly/pins and needles feeling along the bottom of my foot. Also, sometimes when I try to rotate it, maybe 4 out of 5 times a day, it makes a loud cracking/snapping noise. Does this sound like a strain, or a tear, or something of that sort? I don't want to go to the doctors and act like a baby about it if it's just a little sprain, but I'm very tolerant of pain and this is so bad that I wince when I step on it

How to easily sand a bike out?

You want to use a wet sand paper and a bucket of water. Keep the sandpaper wet and keep dipping it in thee water to remove the paint. Start out will a coarse grit and work your way down to a fine one. I have done several motorcycles and all were hand sanded. It shouldn't take too long to sand down a bike frame. An electric screwdriver wont spin fast enough and a wire brush head will scratch the frame. You want to go with a sand able primer next.

Help dogs coughing problem!?

Heres the deal I have a pitt that started hacking like a piece of gr was stuck in his throat. Then it changed to a different cough a softer just kind of huffing every now and then. So I thought he had gotten it out and maybe his throat was just sore now. He only did it a little today but heres the problem I have another liitle mixed dog that started coughing late last night starting with the hacking and now for the past couple of hours she will start coughing and then throw up. She just ate a little while ago and I think she has thrown all her food up. the last time she threw up it was just white and foamy. (This dog is known to get gr hung in her throat. I have taken her to the vet for the coughing before and they said it was gr give it a day or so. But she is throwing up now and the other dog is coughing too) Could they both just happen to have gr in their throat or something more serious. I cant afford to take them to the vet until friday. Thats the only reason they are not there now. If its something more serious then I will find a way to take them now. Thanks. Please help!!

My 1999 Saturn sl2 will not start?

Ok i have a 1999 sl2 saturn with 150k miles on it and the battery has recently been replaced. but every time i drive it around basically until the engine gets hot then turn it off it will not start all i get is a click then once it cools down again it starts fine i have checked the battery with a volt meter it shows a strong 12.90 volts with it turned off and with it running a14.69 volts so i would figure that eliminates the alternator and the battery. any ideas?maybey the starter or the starter solenoid?

Why I cannot drink coffee?

I drink Coffee very occasionally, almost never... But whenever I drink even just a small cup of coffee I feel really bad: my legs and arms hurt, it is like if my muscles are really tired if I were working out for hours. When you see a car (or dog) go by and your dog barks and runs after it just pull him back and say NO or whatever corrective word you use. If he looks at the car (or dog) and follows it with his eyes praise him and give him a treat for being calm. Value of a Bensen B-8M gyrocopter in pristine condition?

I have a bad habit of occasionally gambling on blind auctions on the contents of unpaid and abandoned self storage units and then try to make a profit by reselling whatever goodies they contain. I very seldom hit a bid jackpot on the contents but this past weekend I did on two side by side 12 X 12 units which appear to have been rented by the same person, maybe someone in the military because the self storage rental center is close to Scott Air Force Base. Anyway, among the many goodies in these units was a gyrocopter. It is an old one but it is in pristine condition and it does not have a rotor. I guess that must have been removed and perhaps stored some other place because it would surely be too long to fit in a 12 X 12 storage unit. I had an old friend, who is a licensed pilot and owns a plane, come over and look at it this evening and he said it is a Bensen and judging by some internet photos he found he said it is a Bensen B-8M. Other than not having a rotor, it is complete and has a McCulloch engine with a pristine varnished wood propeller and it has a small instrument panel with some aircraft type instruments. When we looked at some of the Bensen B-8M photos on the internet, though they didn't have the instrument panel this one has, the engine on this one does look like it is the McCulloch 4318 and when turning the prop my friend said it feels like the motor has good compression and he is going to come back later this week and try to start it after he tries to find some information on that engine. Okay, now here comes my questions. My friend offered me $800 for this thing this evening... $800 as is. That is more than I paid for the contents of both storage units that contained a jackpot of valuable goodies which I will have no problem reselling and very likely turn a profit well over $5000 in addition to what to what I might get for this gyrocopter. Should I sell this thing for the $800 offered as is and not take a chance that he will reduce or withdraw the offer if it won't start? Or should I wait to see if the motor runs, and if it runs good then try to find a rotor for it and try to sell it for a lot more? And finally, remembering that this thing is in pristine condition, which was my pilot friend's essment of it, what might it be worth with a rotor on it?

My husband has completed two years of probation on a ten year sentence in Georgia. Upon deployment to Iraq with the FL Air National Guard his PO filed for the issuance of a warrant for failure to report August 06 and leaving the State of Georgia. The Judge made the statement, "Either he is going to Iraq or going to prison!" How can a judge base a revocation on my husband's military status? She would not listen to my husband's attorney. A while back I took 2 pregnancy tests a week after sleeping with my boyfriend, obviously it must have been too early as they came back negative. a couple of months later i was out and unfortunately i got hit in my stomach, the night it happened i began to bleed but not too heavy i had to be careful when standing up as i felt sick as soon as i stood upright. i bled for a week which i noticed was leaving my body in clots and also black, i also had severe lower abdominal pains which caught me off-guard and on numerous occasions i nearly did collapse I ended up going into hospital where the bleeding calmed down as i was lying down most of the time, but the stomach pains weren't budging, i told the hospital i hadn't been ually active in about a year so i don't think any further pregnancy tests were done. I had an ultrasound but my bladder wasn't full at the time and i was told there and then not much would show up because of my age. i had an x-ray of my stomach again nothing showed up. I was let home the pains still continued and i have been bleeding for about 7-9 weeks since all of this and i really don't know whats causing this. please can somebody help i am really confused as for some reason i just feel different, i feel like somethings missing, my moods are all over the place and i am very snappy one minute im happy the next im as low as u can be and i don't know why ... i just want to know the truth.

Today was a really bad day for me and my family because of my mood swings, what should i do ?

I woke up today feeling like not like myself and I felt depressed right from when i woke up. I had been giving my parents problems with my mood swings and they said they are really tired of it. They said they want to file a paper in the local magistrate to remove me from their house. I'm 19 years old and I still live with them, I don't know how to drive and I can't afford a place of my own. I graduated from high school June 2009 and I was taking a break by staying home a year. I feel upset also because I can't find a girl on my own, whenever on the days i feel depressed my troubles getting a girlfriend always surface and makes me feel depressed. Someone who knew me from high school sent a message to my myspace on a fake new account dissing me by calling me gay. What is my obsession with coughs, sneezes, and burps?

Whenever someone coughs, sneezes, or burps around me I have to leave the room, or put my mouth and nose inside my shirt collar/sleeve and take deep breaths. If I'm in a car when it happens, I have to roll down the window and scoot towards the door, but I don't calm down until that person is away from me. Sometimes people biting their nails or rubbing their noses affects me too, but not as often. This has only been going on within the last couple of months. At first it wasn't a big deal, but now it happens multiple times a day. Also, if I'm the one who coughs, sneezes, or burps I don't do anything, I act normally. Is this obsession something that will p or will it get worse??
